Abstract: |
The site is located within the Archaeological Priority area of South Shoreditch. This desk-based assessment shows that the site may have been subject to significant past human activity, particularly within the medieval and post-medieval periods and has a high potential for the recovery of archaeological remains from these periods. Many archaeological deposits may have been truncated during the constructions of the present building. The proposed scheme of development incorporates separate elements that may require archaeological evaluation and watching briefs. [Au(abr)] |
