Abstract: |
Two trenches measuring 3.5m x 1.5m and 13.45m x 1.5m were excavated in advance of the construction of two semi-detached houses. Fourteen archaeological features, all dating to the medieval period were recorded, four in trench one and ten in trench two. They comprised five pits, one possible pit/ditch, three possible ditch terminal ends and five ditches/gullies. Three residual fragments of Roman pottery were also recorded. [Au(adp)] |
