Abstract: |
Archaeological desk-based assessment, magnetometer survey and metal detecting survey of an area of 4ha of farmland in Warmington, Northamptonshire indicated the potential for the survival of undated ditched enclosures, 17th century or earlier buildings and property boundaries, together with a drain, related to an adjacent medieval moated site. There was no evidence that the Roman road from Durobrivae (Water Newton) to Titchmarsh crossed the site. [Au] |
