Abstract: |
An excavation and watching brief was carried out on the site. Residual prehistoric flint and pottery were found in several of the features. A gully and associated pit and post hole were dated to the Anglo-Saxon period by pottery. A rectangular medieval enclosure was identified and a more substantial late medieval/early post-medieval enclosure. Further medieval pits and deposits were recorded across the site as well as a grouping of shallow late post-medieval pits. [Au(abr)] |
