Abstract: |
The evaluation revealed very little of archaeological interest. The majority of features identified were the remains of modern field boundaries. However, three features were recorded which contained evidence of Middle-Late Iron Age activity. The features were widely spread across the site, two of them being situated 100 metres apart on the higher ground in the western part of the site, and a further one located on the eastern edge of the site. No cohesive pattern could be discerned, and no clear focus for the activity of this period identified. [Au] |
