Abstract: |
A total of 73 sites were identified during the desk-based assessment, only 13 of which were previously recorded. A watching brief was undertaken on five test pits along the course of the pipeline. In all cases, with the exception of Test Pit 6, the test pits did not impact on any archaeological sites and no archaeological remains were observed. Test pit 6 revealed modern demolition debris.
