Abstract: |
The desk-based assessment for the proposed MAFF sludge dewatering scheme, at Wanlip sewage treatment works concluded that the site was an area of archaeological potential. The site was situated in a landscape of prehistoric development and close to an excavated Middle Iron Age site to the south. Evidence of medieval strip field systems was noted from aerial photographs. The report recommended further archaeological investigation. [Au(adp)] |
