Abstract: |
A watching brief was carried out during the excavation of foundations for an extension to the porch of a 19th century church, at a site which had been occupied by church buildings since the 13th century. The remains of one in situ inhumation were recorded, and a large number of undated human bone fragments which had been disturbed by later service trenches were recovered. Wall foundations which were likely to have been associated with enlargement of the church in 1827 were also recorded. [AIP] |
