Abstract: |
A limited desk-based study and intrusive site evaluation was undertaken to provide an assessment of the likely archaeological implications of proposals to develop for residential usage land to the rear of Stones Farm in the village of North Newton. the desk based study indicated the surviving farm building to have been extant in the early 19th century and the site top lie in an area of high archaeological potential. The site evaluation, however, produced no evidence of any archaeological structures or features within the proposed development area. [Au] |
