Abstract: |
As part of a long term programme of work to improve the presentation of Pendennis headland it was proposed to recreate the 1627 Hornworks defences as a landcape feature. A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of nine test pits by Acer Consultants in the Hornworks lower car park. No features or deposits of archaeological significance were revealed.
