An examination of two Orkney tombs, comparing their decorated stones with motifs in Ireland and elsewhere in the British Isles. It is noted that recent work on the decoration of Neo passage graves in Scotland and the British Isles/Ireland has shown interesting patterns between tombs and houses.

A paper arguing that environmental (biological) evidence can provide insights into economic systems, and that bones and insects from late fourth-century AD Lincoln indicate continuity of complex systems into this period.
