Abstract:
Eleven trenches were opened by mechanical excavator to the north-east of Wandlebury camp and adjacent to the Roman road, Worsted Street. A small pit containing several struck flint flakes, probably dating from the Late Mesolithic or Early Neolithic period, was excavated as well as an undated linear feature, possibly a trackway, running parallel to the Roman road. An appendix lists contexts.
