The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 The Arches Cottages, Sawley, have recently undergone remedial repair work and conversion into a single dwelling. Timbers from the original structure were exposed during this and a tree-ring dating programme was commissioned by English Heritage to help inform the ongoing repairs and modifications. The results indicate that some of the timbers date from the second quarter of the sixteenth century.
