Segsbury Camp; excavations in 1996 and 1997 at an Iron Age hillfo...
Describes the aims of the project, and discusses earlier work at the site. A further chapter outlines the aims and results of the Segsbury Art Project. Subsequent chapters provide plans and outlines of all trenches, and discuss some of the pottery and small-finds recovered. Summaries of the ceramic assemblages follow, and the report concludes by placing the site within its wider context (with particular reference to sites included in the Lambourne Downs National Mapping Programme), noting that it is exceptionally large compared to other hillforts in the area.
