The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Archaeological evaluation and monitoring in advance of the construction of a new roundabout and car park at the junction of Norwich and Richmond Roads at RAF Lakenheath revealed further evidence of the Roman settlement in the form of ditches and pits containing some Roman pottery and animal bone fragments. Unfortunately the site had suffered a lot of modern disturbance and in addition, where archaeological levels survived they were well below the development levels. However evidence that appears to support existing theories about the presence of a band of enclosure ditches on the east and north edges of the settlement was found.
