Abstract:		 In November 2006, North Pennines Archaeology Ltd was commissioned to undertake an archaeological desk based assessment and building recording in advance of a proposed redevelopment of the site of Stublick Colliery, Langley, Northumberland (NGR NY 83374 60382). This will comprise the archaeological component of a feasibility study into the conversion of the colliery buildings into an art gallery, bunkhouse and studio.
