Abstract:		 Evaluation at Wellhead Lane, Perry Barr, Birmingham. 7 evaluation trenches excavated in the area of a proposed development. Site includes possible line of Roman road, Icknield Street. A ditch was located in two trenches on the likely alignment of Roman road and and is likely to be the eastern side ditch of the road. A further ditch on the eastern side of the site corresponds to a field boundary shown on historic maps.
