Abstract:
An evaluation of 60 trenches uncovered evidence of multi-period occupation including sporadic finds from the Neolothic and Bronze Age alondside an Iron Age and Roman ditch system and evidence of occupation in the early Anglo-Saxon period. Finds suggest domestic occupation but no actual buildings were uncovered. There was very limited stratification and 31% were undatable
