The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 Watching brief carried out during the de-silting of two ponds that are within the boundary of a Scheduled Ancient Monument of the Swinton Pottery SAM 29957). The ponds had been previously desilted so no archaeological deposits were uncovered. Possible kiln waste was located along the southeast bank and a brick line culvert was exposed. The culvert appeared to run to the northeast and was possible installed the carry away excess water from the upper pottery pond.
