Abstract:		 Report an a watching brief at Alport Mill, Alport, Derbyshire. Alport Mill is a 18th century Grade II listed building and is belived to have an origin in an earlier medieval mill. The project monitored groundworks associated with the creation of a hydro electrical turbin on the site by the contractors Derwent Hydro Electrics for Haddon Estates. This involved the monitoring of three seperate phases of works relating to the turbin house, the intake pipe and the connecting feed pipe.
