Abstract: |
Monitoring of ground works at Hall Farm, Lound, was carried out as a condition of the planning consent. A written and photographic record of the historic farm buildings to be converted was made by Leigh Alston, concluding that the main brick building is an historically important example of an 18th - early 19th century Broadland barn with 16th - early 17th century origins. No evidence for concentrated occupation or other activity was identified during the archaeological monitoring, either as artefactual evidence or incised features. |
