Abstract:		 In October and November 2009, Archaeological Solutions Ltd conducted a strip, map and sample excavation on the area of Phase 5 at Coxford Abbey Quarry, East Rudham, Norfolk (NGR TF 83172 30249). Numerous previous phases of archaeological investigation (field walking and 'strip, map and sample' excavations) have been undertaken. Dispersed discrete features, mostly late Neolithic/ early Bronze Age pits, have been excavated. The current phase of excavation (Quarry Phase 5), revealed a considerably higher number of features but fewer finds. The only dateable archaeoogical material was derived froma cluster of four pits in the north-western corner of the site. The pits contained early Bronze Age Beaker pottery. The cluster was similar to those discovered in Excavation Phases 1A, 1B and 2. No finds were recovered from the excavated gault holes.
