Abstract:		 The evaluation trench revealed limited evidence of archaeological activity. The evidence that was revealed, comprised of peaty water lain deposits containing medieval fragments of pottery, overlain by Victorian and post-medieval levelling layers. One sugested interpretation for the presence of these layers is that shows attempts of land reclemation.
