Abstract:		 In October 2010, Archaeological Solutions Ltd (AS) conducted a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording at Kwik-Fit, Newton Road, Sudbury, Suffolk (NGR TL 875 414). The site lies in the core of the historic town, which was urbanised by the late Saxon period and grew prosperous from the wool trade during medieval times. The monitoring observed the ground reduction of the area of the proposed new MOT workshop (c.80sq.m). No archaeological features or finds were present.
