The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 An archaeological evaluation was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology in July 2010 on land east of Calne. Nineteen trenches were excavated. Several ditches were recorded across the site and these correspond to boundaries identified on historic mapping. One of the ditches contained medieval pottery so it cannot be ruled out that this ditch may pre-date the other recorded boundaries. An undated pit/ditch terminus, a small pit and a posthole were also identified.
