Abstract:
An archaeological evaluation consisting of 3 small trenches revealed the surface and northern extent of the Roman road known as the Fen Causeway. The surface of the gravel road was in poor condition, probably due to modern ploughing. Fen clays and the underlying peats were also recorded.
