Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology carried out a field evaluation at Brizen Farm, Shurdington, Gloucestershire. The evaluation revealed three concentrations of activity. The first was an area of Iron Age and Roman pits and field boundary ditches in the eastern part of the site. The second was an area of Romano-British activity in the north-east of the site. The third area was a concentration of medieval and post-medieval ditches and structural remains at the north of the site, centred around Brizen Farm itself. The remainder of the site contained field boundaries of various dates |
