Abstract: |
Groundworks were to comprise the excavation of a 14m long pipe trench on the foreshore of Kingsbridge Estuary, Devon. A hand-dug trial trench in advance of the pipeline showed 0.1m of estuarine sand over natural geology. No further archaeological monitoring was deemed necessary. |
