Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at Lower Bodiniel farm, Bodmin, targeting anomalies revealed by geophysical survey. Of greatest interest were both curvilinear and linear anomalies which appeared to represent late prehistoric settlement and associated fields. Archaeological deposits were scarce, although there was a suggestion that there had been some activity in the vicinity during the late prehistoric period. It is thought that the complex geophysical anomalies may have largely been the result of unusual geological trends across the proposed solar farm site. |
