The abstract describing the content of the publication or report
Abstract:		 May to June 2008. Oxford Archaeology undertook an evaluation on land at Brooklands, Milton Keynes covering Phases 2 - 4 of the development. The evaluation uncovered two settlement foci, as well as three other foci of activity. The largest settlement foci was already known from the results of a geophysical survey, the evaluation works discovered a large peripheral zone surrounding this settlement core, and determined that it is primarily of Romano-British date. A second settlement focus of early Iron Age date was also confirmed and also had a zone of peripheral activity. There was also a small focus of Bronze Age activity observed.
