Abstract: |
Oxford Archaeology carried out an historic building recording and watching brief at Manor Farm, Nether Winchendon, Buckinghamshire. The building recording was carried out on the main buildings in the complex that are all listed Grade II buildings. The constructional form of all the buildings follows vernacular traditions with number of witchert walls, timber framing and typical truss types for the area. The watching brief was carried out on the intrusive groundworks but revealed very little archaeology. |
