Abstract:		 The Watching Brief monitored an area of pile probing, four test pits and an area of ground reduction at the Rolls House and Arnold House, at the Rolls Buildings and Breams Buildings, Fetter Lane, City of London EC4 intermittently from the 20th of June 2007 to the 29th of April 2008. The four test pits revealled modern deposits, the pile probing revealed modern deposits, while the area of ground reduction revealled made ground above a concrete basement whcih was above natural gravels.
