Abstract:		 The evaluation consisted of two trial trenches, designed to investigate the site's archaeological potential. The location of one of the trenches was designed to target a structure depicted within the confines of the site on the 1st edition OS map. One cut feature, an east-west aligned ditch dating to the medieval period, was identified and recorded during the excavation of Trench 1. This ditch was contemporaneous with other archaeological features known to exist in the vicinity of the study site.
