Abstract: |
Archaeology South-East was commissioned by Balfour Beatty Mott Macdonald to undertake an archaeological watching brief during groundworks for the installation of a new cycleway between Beddingham and Firle, immediately to the north of the A27. A single undated archaeological feature was encountered and recorded, a shallow gully which contained a single piece of struck flint and a heavily abraded sherd of medieval pottery. No other archaeological features, deposits or finds were encountered. |
