Abstract The abstract describing the content of the publication or report Abstract:	An archaeological watching brief was undertaken by Cotswold Archaeology during groundworks associated with underground cable replacement and uprating between Walford and Brelston Court, Herefordshire. The watching brief identified one undated and one modern ditch probably representing field boundaries or other agricultural features, three pits of indeterminate function, containing no datable artefacts and two amorphous spreads of slag, clinker, and cinders probably indicating modern dumping of industrial debris.
