Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was carried out at Newhall, Harlow, Essex. Eight trenches were excavated. Boulder clay was identified in the base of all eight trenches. this was sealed by a layer of natural clay. A number of cut features were identified, all of these were undated and were interpreted as field drains or ditches. No archaeological deposits were identified. |
