Abstract: |
A watching brief was maintained during the excavation of a connecting cable trench between two electricity poles c.85m apart. The site was at Gallows Hill, thought to have been a place of execution associated with the Castle of Crichie. A possible Bronze Age cairn was in the area. No archaeological features or finds were evident. |
