Abstract: |
excavation of a small area prior to a housing development revealed a number of probably medieval ditches forming rectilinear fields and a number of probably post-medieval pits. Finds are very sparse although some medieval pottery and a coins were recovered from an overlying hillwash deposit. Some Roman and prehistoric pottery was also recovered as residual finds. |
