Abstract: |
An archaeological evaluation was undertaken on a proposed residential development, Whitehall Road, Insch, Aberdeenshire. The archaeological evaluation consisted of 15 trenches equating to 1575 m2 of trenching. A single prehistoric pit was identified and fully excavated. The pit contained a single piece of worked flint. A ten metre by ten metre box was excavated around the feature in an attempt to identify any associated features. No other archaeologically significant finds or features were encountered. |
