Abstract:		 Northamptonshire Archaeology undertook a trial trench evaluation on land at Nerrols Farm, Taunton, Somerset. Two separate archaeological sites were identified. A rectangular enclosure with associated features in a field to the north-west of the farm has been provisionally dated to the early to mid Bronze Age by a small pottery assemblage. To the south-east a series of ditches, gullies, pits and postholes clustered around a broad trackway have produced a larger assemblage of medieval pottery dated to the 11th-15th centuries.
