Abstract: |
Headland Archaeology (UK) Ltd. was commissioned to undertake an archaeological excavation and watching brief at Pershore Abbey Church, Worcestershire The north-east chapel was suffering from subsidence caused by desiccation of the surrounding soil by tree roots. It was proposed to underpin the foundations of the north-east chapel. This would impact upon burials and potentially other archaeological remains within the footprint of the works. |
