An archaeological evaluation was carried out on land at the rear of Gippeswyk Hall, Gippeswyk Avenue in Ipswich on the 17th October 2012, prior to the proposed development of a studio theatre extension. A single trench was excavated in which no archaeological features were found. In addition no artefacts were recovered and no environmental samples were taken. |
