Abstract:		 Cambridge Archaeological Unit undertook two phases of excavation at Knobbs Farm Quarry, Somersham between 5th October 2009 to 11 January 2010 and 12th July to 10th September 2010. Both these excavations revealed evidence for Middle Iron Age settlement activity and field systems, and a later phase of Late Iron Age/Early Roman activity in the form of trackways and a substantial enclosure.
