Abstract: |
An excavation followed a five-trench evaluation showed that most of the site had suffered truncation following demolition of dairy buildings in 2001. Medieval features survived in the north of the site, and a series of pits dating to 1175-1350 were excavated. Most of the finds were cooking pots of Limpsfield ware. various post-holes were also recorded:including one defined fence line. |
