Abstract: |
A small evaluation trench and further monitoring of ground disturbance during construction work for new play equipment installations revealed a buried soil deposit in a shallow depression below a layer of windblown sands. The shallow nature of the development (less than 0.3m deep) meant that it did not impact on this buried soil layer, which remains underneath the play area installations. |
