Abstract: |
Detailed gradiometer survey was undertaken over the area of a proposed residential development at Coates Road, Eastrea, Cambridgeshire. The site lies in proximity to areas of significant prehistoric and later settlement. However, no clearly archaeological features were noted. A number of linear features are of possible archaeological origin and a series of parallel linears possibly indicate medieval ridge and furrow cultivation, but much of the variation within the survey data probably relates to modern disturbance and agricultural activities on the site. |
