Abstract: |
NN 6261 4691 - NN 6263 4678; NN 6253 4537 - NN 6252 4564 Watching briefs were kept in September 2010 during the excavation of two stretches of a trench for a pipeline serving a new hydro-electric scheme at Roromore on the south side of Glen Lyon. One section of the pipeline passed through the remains of Miltown of Roro, the other through a collection of shieling huts, on the banks of the Allt a' Chobhai some 1km further S. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered at either location. |
