Abstract: |
Following an archaeological strip, map and sample excavation on land between Perry Street and Manor Road, Crayford during November and December 2010, a pro-active observation and recording exercise was undertaken during ground works on the eastern half of the land between 28th March and the 8th April 2011. The pro-active observation and recording exercise monitored ground reduction and the excavation of wall footings to the east of the site. No further archaeological finds or features were recorded during this phase of work, with natural clay, subsoil and topsoil representing the full archaeological sequence. |
