Abstract:		 A programme of monitoring and recording was undertaken during groundworks for a detached dwelling on land at Lynn Road, Walton Highway, Norfolk. Historic maps indicate the presence of a medieval moat adjacent to the site. The watching brief revealed a sequence of former topsoil and probable garden deposits. No archaeological features, either associated with the nearby moat or otherwise were revealed, although a modern brick water tank was noted. No finds were retrieved.
