Abstract:		 Debenham, The Old Police Station, 14 Low Road (DBN 149, TM 1742 6298) monitoring of ground works for a rear extension did not reveal any features or finds indicative of activity pre-dating the mid 20th century construction of the main structure as the town police station. While the site lies towards the southern edge of the historic core at Debenham, and close to the edge of what was Cherry Tree Green, topographically it is also low lying and close to a tributary stream that flows eastwards towards the nearby upper reaches of the River Deben.
